Our Story
Yorkshire Treats is run by husband and wife team, Ruth and Keith Taylor, who have been working together in business since 2011.
Ruth brings a background in hospitality and HR, while Keith spent many years working in finance before moving into hospitality more recently. Combining their skills and shared love of great food and customer experience, they opened their first venture together in 2013 — Taylormade Treats, a café and bakery that quickly became known for its delicious homemade bakes and welcoming atmosphere.
After successfully running the café for a number of years, they sold the business in 2020 and The Yorkshire Treats Company was born.
What started as a love of baking soon evolved into something more creative. Couples began asking not just for trays of brownies, blondies and sweet treats, but for beautifully styled dessert displays that would become a real feature of their wedding day.
That’s when we realised people didn’t just want amazing desserts — they wanted something that looked stunning, felt special and fitted perfectly with their wedding style.
So that’s exactly what we created.
Today, we design and style dessert tables for weddings across Yorkshire, combining beautiful presentation with seriously delicious homemade treats. We absolutely love weddings and take huge pride in creating dessert tables that wow your guests — because while the tables look amazing, the treats taste even better.
