By placing an order on this website, you are agreeing to the following terms
Delivery by Post
Please ensure the postage details you enter are correct. If an order is returned because of a refused, unclaimed, or unsuccessful delivery, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Delivery dates are an approximate date, we cannot be held responsible for courier delays and strikes.
Risk and Ownership
Risk or damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery to you or collection by you from our shop. You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered/collected and when we have received cleared payment in full. Goods supplied are not for resale. Once goods have been collected by you and left our shop, then any damage to the goods is your responsibility and no refund will be given for damaged items.
Delivery Local by Us
We will deliver your order after 3pm on the date chosen. Please ensure someone is available to take in the delivery or you have specified a safe place/neighbour for your order, safe places must be dry and clean, away from any pests/pets as this is a food product. We will not be able to re-deliver items and you would need to collect from our shop in Harden the following day or by arrangement. No refund will be given if we are unable to leave your items.
Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between you and us if:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
- We do not deliver to your area
- One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will refund any payment you have made to us within 7 days of your order.
Prices and Descriptions
Prices are as stated on the website and are subject to change at any time without notice. Any promotional codes offered are subject to change and availability. They cannot be extended and cannot be retrospectively applied to an order placed outside of the specified discount time. Only one discount code can be used per order on full price products. We have taken care in preparing the content of this website to ensure all goods have been fairly described. However, actual goods may slightly differ to those described. Weights, sizes and dimensions are approximate
Product Availability
We will aim to ensure that our website is always available and that the stock levels and information provided is correct. We cannot be held accountable for any downtime that may occur and we cannot guarantee product availability. In the event that your ordered item/s are not in stock you will be notified by email. You will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order.
We will always try to accommodate your requested colour of cake boards, if this colour is out of stock we will contact you with an alternative option and you will have the choice to go ahead or cancel the order.
Submitted Information
Cake Wording – we will copy wording as given on the order, please make sure you are happy with the wording submitted and check the spelling of words and names
Flavours – once submitted you cannot change the flavour, if you have completed the form incorrectly, please call us on 01535 271294 and we will try our best to accommodate your requirements but cannot guarantee this depending on timing of changes
Payment Terms
The total order cost must be paid in full on ordering. We reserve the right to cancel any orders which we believe to be fraudulent or that do not pass the required security checks. We accept payment by credit or debit card on-line only. We use a trusted, reliable and secure payment gateway
Colour Variation
Whilst every care is taken to ensure our product images are a true representation of the item for sale we cannot guarantee that the colour will match perfectly due to variations in monitor set-ups.
Contract
Full payment is required when you order. Your payment represents an offer to purchase. Our acceptance of your order completes the contract between us.
Collections
Products must be collected during shop opening hours, if items remain uncollected, they will not be eligible for a refund.
Allergy Information
We are not able to provide products for allergy sufferers, if the listed ingredients do not include an allergen there is still a high risk of presence. We do not have sperate areas for production and risks of cross contamination is very high and so none of our products are suitable for people with any allergy.
Natasha’s Law
If you require a full list of ingredients please email your request to ruth@yorkshiretreatsco.co.uk before ordering and at least 48 hours before delivery/collection and these will be provided.
Changes to legal notices
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.
